As part of the events to commemorate the direct link between Thirsk and the Magna Carta, the Mayor of Thirsk will receive a facsimile copy of the Charter from the Lord Lieutenant of North Yorkshire, Mr Barry Dodd CBE. Castlegarth was once the site of Thirsk Castle. Everyone invited. 3hr free parking at Tesco nearby. 9.45am for 10am. Free.
