Display of works from the National Portrait Gallery. Inside the Italian-inspired house you'll find the interactive galleries, Making Faces - 18th-Century Style, where you can discover history and portraiture, and sit for a 21st-century digital portrait. Outdoors is a working Victorian walled garden with luxurious Edwardian borders. Parkland for longer walks, with space and a play area for children. Children welcome. The wilderness playground was redeveloped this summer and includes new play equipment, including an adventurous clamberstack,a cantilever swing and a den building area. Play equipment is also provided in the walled garden and you can bring your own ball games to the south lawn. Inside the house are trails for children, dressing up areas and interactive galleries.
