Housed in the grounds and buildings of an ex-prisoner of war (PoW)camp which originally housed Italian and German PoW's between 1942-1948, our museum covers British social history of the 1930's & 40's and military history of the 20th Century. Our site consists of 30 exhibition huts, a large collection of military vehicles and equipment, a Café, Tearoom, Licensed bar and Gift shop. Open 7 days a week 10am-5pm. Children welcome.
