We control the stretches of Cod Beck throughout Thirsk Town. Day tickets are available from either the Londis White Horse Petrol Station (YO7 1BB) on Long Street or Towlers Newsagent (YO7 1LW) in the Market Place. Day ticket anglers are allowed to fish from Norby Weir (YO7 1BQ) downstream to Marage Road (YO7 1AA) on the right bank of the Beck.
The Club also has day ticket fishing available on Cod Beck at Dalton Bridge and the River Swale on the left bank downstream of Skipton Bridge for a distance of around 1 Km. Day tickets for these stretches are available from either Busby Stoop Filling Station (YO7 4EQ) or Topcliffe Post Office (YO7 3RL). There are good stocks of Chub, Barbel, Perch & Pike on this stretch of River Swale.
The Club also has access to Grange Farm Pond which is situated on York Road just outside Thirsk (YO7 3AD / flute.adopts.originate) Booking for this Fishery is required by texting Jane Goodyear on 07486 524876 before arrival. This is a very well stocked natural pond with around 20 pegs available to visiting anglers. It has been kept a closely guarded secret by the locals for many years with large Bream, Tench & a few Carp, but it is now open to the wider fishing community.

The Beck around Thirsk is famed for the Dace, Grayling & Chub fishing during the Winter months which can be excellent. We are a Coarse Angling Club observing the Fishing Season 16th June until 14th March inclusive. We unfortunately do not offer any facilities for Trout anglers.
Club Membership is available to anglers living in the local area. There is a waiting list to join for anglers who live outside the area, such is the popularity of Coarse Fishing around the Thirsk area.

Walkable from Thirsk Tourist Information.
