Housed in the grounds and buildings of an ex-prisoner of war (PoW)camp which originally housed Italian and German PoW's between 1942-1948, our museum covers British social history of the 1930's & 40's and military history of the 20th Century. Our site consists of 30 exhibition huts, a large collection of military vehicles and equipment, a Café, Tearoom, Licensed bar and Gift shop.
Open 7 days a week 10am-5pm.

Eden Camp is the only preserved PoW camp open in the UK. Experience what life was like on both the Home Front and Front Line in a totally unique setting. We have established close relationships with many veteran groups, allowing us to acquire many unique artifacts shown in exhibitions utilising special sound, light and smell effects. We provide free parking for 400 cars and up to 20 coaches.
Accessible Fully accessible in all areas. Manual wheelchairs, braille sheets and audio guides can be borrowed free of charge.
Children welcome WW2 reconstructed camp, Children's play area/Assault course. Free wartime-themed puppet show.
Dogs welcome Dogs on short leads are allowed inside the huts, but not in the gift shop, café or children's play area.

Take A170 east to Pickering and the A169 south towards Malton. We are on the west side of the A169, just before the A169/A64 junction
